So I submitted a presentation to JavaOne, and was accepted as an alternate speaker. So, I'm supposed to go, and discover whether or not they plan to use my presentation. And I get free access to the convention regardless. But I'm just not feeling like going.

Last year's con didn't have the same energy as previous years. Meh. I dunno.

where's it at? You could always go sightseeing or something else and be on call.

Yeah. I guess. I've been to San Fran many times, so I'm kinda running out of sights to see.

Have you ever been to Yosemite? If you rent a car, it's a lovely park and not too far from SF. I think it's a 4 hour drive but I am not sure. It's been a long time since I was there. Or how about going down to Monterey, with the OMG amazing aquarium? If you are into seafood, in Sausalito, there is a place called Scoma's that my parents swear by. I was still a teen the last time I was there so it has been awhile, if you go, could I be your luggage boi? LOL
