yes, 21, two riders were approaching, all in, of cabbages and kings, run lola run, You're not of the body, bee sea, magic shadows, i am not a number, seeing the world after april, Circe Invidiosa, Ayizan, gender, Test Card F, politics, fascism, brain thoughts, java, best pilot evah, why i love saturn, default, unless, haiti, i had an accident, open the bay doors HAL, politics and strange bedfellows, weather underground, being dead like me, Timey-Wimey Detector

Every once in a while, my building has a poker tournament. Pretty much every night they've played, I've either missed the announcement, or I'd need to be out of town. But tonight I caught the game. The payouts were strange. Second place gets their buy-in back, and first place takes the rest.

When it was just down to me and one other guy (who had to leave in a bit), we decided to split the pot.

I've been playing for a few years, but fairly infrequently. I play maybe 8 times a year. I'd love to play more, but finding players (who want to play more frequently) is a challenge.

Same here. I can't complain because I get quite a bit of other type of gaming in, but I would love a local poker night, tis much fun.

Nice going. Any particularly memorable hands?

Why are the bad beats always more memorable than the other hands?

I think the funniest hand of the night happened just after winning a pot with pocket tens. The very next hand, I was dealt another pair of tens. I raised it up before the flop and two positions later, another guy (on a short stack) went all in. Everyone else went out, so I called the guy. He had the black tens; I had the red tens.
