This feels like I'm being asked to compare 1, 2, and infinity.

Answer is tempered by not having to TOUCH Outlook. I might have a different answer for Lotus Notes.

Irritating, being the operative word.

Can't say I've ever considered the patriarchy irritating. Angry-making, perhaps.

These days, all my spam is re: mortgage foreclosures.

Mine tends to have vaguer subject lines about satisfying my girlfriend--and I happen to know that I'm doing just fine in that regard. (I think this is just randomness, not that the spam is targeted at people with girlfriends and without penises.)

Because many men are also oppressed by what people call the patriarchy, I find the use of the term patriarchy sexist and offensive. Am I the only feminist to think so? I dunno what term is better, though.

I don't get how those two things are connected.

You're probably not the only feminist to think so, but I would argue that conflating "men" with "the patriarchy" completely misses the point.

Wanna start a Haitian Creole language study group that meets every 2 weeks or something? We live a cross the street from each other, you know.

I'd be totally up for that.

I think MS Outlook and Penis Spam are PART of the Patriarchy!

So the patriarchy is the superset.

that's why I picked it!

That was tough, but I decided that at least part of the cause of penis enlargement spam is the patriarchy.

Indeed.

Will we even *remember* Outlook in 20 years?

I bet we still have 'the patriachy' then.

Compare and Contrast
"irritating" is so totally not the word i'd use for how i feel about the patriarchy (it's more how i feel about people who blame everything on it).

i don't see much penis enlargement spam due to really good spam filters.

ergo: outlook. and i don't even use it. it's other people's outlook usage that irritates me.

2 and 3 are caused by 1. Trufax.

I can ignore items 2 and 3 pretty effectively but it's harder and harder to avoid item 1.
